Firehawk, Star Wars Went Mobile
If you’re not thirsty for blood and horror and just want to take a break shooting a few spaceships and flying a mission, consider Firehawk. Unlike those 3D meat grinders that most of us are used to seeing on desktop computers, this game lets you really enjoy the play, relax and still feel the adrenaline rush of completing a crucial life-saving mission.
Board on your spaceship and take off for your mission. Certainly, your way won’t be easy; the enemy ships will try to obstruct it and even destroy you. However, loaded with the most modern armaments and accompanied by supporting scout ships, you can rebuff them accordingly.
The game has over half a dozen mission assignments with a number of sub stages in each one, with difficulty levels varying from “beginner” to “too hard”. You can choose a spaceship you like depending on the desired features and its firing style.
The play feels very realistic because of textured 3D objects, destructible buildings, shadows, animated halo effects, and the original sound effects.
When the game is over, you can count your wins and losses with the high score table. Moreover, you can record the play and then demonstrate the movie with yourself in the starring role.
Special editions of Firehawk are available for PCs and mobile devices. The latest edition supports new mobile devices, larger screens, VGA/QVGA mode, and rotating screen.
Fire Hawk reveals itself to be a pretty decent shooter
Yay! Another scrolling shooter! I'm wondering if maybe we'll come to a point where all we see on the Pocket PC anymore is scrolling shooters and Sudoku clones. Sad, but I do like this category of game when its done right. Sky Force feels like a little better quality overall, but Fire Hawk is a pretty good runner-up and definitely the game to pick up after you've finished the former.
"Immerse yourself in an intergalatic war"
FireHawk is a splendid shooting game featuring 6 levels, 6 bosses, 3D scenes, particle effect, record/replay, and is only 1Mb in size, supporting all win32 platform. There are 3 types of ships, each can equipped with 2 different armours

Controls
iOS devices: The ship can fly freely in all directions using relative-touch/tilt control. You can even play the game in landscape mode which you can control the ship by relative-control/virtual-keys.
Other devices: The ship can fly freely in 8 directions using your d-pad, joystick, stylus, or mouse. If you have the access to a stylus or mouse, use it! Its much easier to dodge bullets and pick up power-ups with smoother control.
The Action Keys
Your ship can do alot, so you're going to have to remember what each key does:
- A: Pressing the A key allows your ship to fire its standard payload. If you hold down the A key, your firepower bar will fill up and when you let go of the A key, will unleash a supercharged payload!
- B: This will give you access to the in game menu which contains sound levels, main menu, and direct access to exit the game.
- C: Unleashes a powerful bomb attack. Each pilot has their own unique bomb attack. You have a limited supply, so keep an eye on it.
for iOS devices, Double-Touch=Press C(bomb attack), Double-Tap and Hold=Pressing the A key(charge power), Tap the pause icon (up-right corner)=Press B (pause the game).
Leveling System
Your ship and scouts are able to power up throughout the game by catching floating power-up icons. Your ship and scouts can become more powerful with these power-ups by increasing the amount of fire and spread of bullets you can output. The power-up will be a floating icon surrounded with spinning red balls. The power-up will level up either your ship or scout depending on its current status. After 3 seconds, the power-up will change its status, so choose one wisely. With 3 power-ups, your ship will be at its most powerful state.
Score System
Shooting a wave of enemies is simple. To award those who are efficient with their ammo and kill enemies consistently, you will be awarded with a multiplier. The more enemies you kill in a row, the higher your score will get. These will range with a multiplier of x2, x4, and x8. Also, enemies will drop "star points" which will add even more to your total score. Get enough of these star points, and you just might be awarded an extra bomb.
Record/Replay
Using the games ability to record your battles and you can view the saved replay data. for iOS devices, the game will upload your scores to GameCenter leader boards.
